Global Standard gGmbH has commissioned it fits to organize and conduct a GOTS roundtable. The theme of the workshop is "Advertise and communicate with GOTS" and the aim is to inform and discuss about consumer communication and communication with GOTS. it fits moderates the workshop and contributes the following input: Requirements for a correct GOTS labelling according to the Labelling Guide with labelling examples and exercises. Instruments to support GOTS communication and strategies/methods for better consumer education will be developed and discussed.
We have developed a chemicals management for the Magazine zum Globus AG in Switzerland and accompany its implementation. Initially, a Restricted Substances List (RSL) and a Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) were created, embedded in a framework catalog with requirements for suppliers of private label products. it fits also developed the necessary QA system to ensure that these requirements are met.
Magazine zum Globus takes the calls of activists such as Greenpeace with the detox campaign seriously and has assumed its responsibility through this project. Globus' action plan consists of ensuring transparency of the supply chain as a first step and gradually implementing its own Globus textile MRSL/RSL.
it fits has now conducted the first supplier meetings and audits and will continue to support this project in the future.

Preparation of an expert opinion on the topic "The way to sustainable clothing - standards, labels and political conditions". Existing labels and brands that promise sustainability were evaluated with the aim of finding out under which aspects a state-guaranteed sustainability label could be meaningful or necessary. In addition to considering problem factors in the textile industry along the value chain, this report also looks at the market situation for sustainable clothing. At the end of the report, we summarize the recommendations for action and relevant topics for representatives of politics that have emerged from the findings and point out the political adjustment screws that can be used to improve the manifold problems presented by the state.

An expert assessment of 20 relevant standard and label programmes for the German market was commissioned as the basis for GLS Bank, with a recommendation of adequate labels. The detailed overview
contains information on standard holders, regulatory area, general background information, objectives, hedging (independent certification/QA) and number of label users.

Preparation of a guideline study in which GOTS, Blue Angel, EU flower and Oeko-Tex 100/1000 are contrasted. A project of the Wuppertal Institute and the Institut für Unternehmen & Schule GmbH (UnS) in cooperation with Trifolium consulting company. This project was sponsored and initiated by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU). Within the framework of the project, learning partnerships were established between companies and schools with the aim of promoting dialogue on the subject of sustainable management. it fits was responsible as project manager for the coordination of sustainability transfer in the district of Baden-Württemberg. Within the project, teaching materials on sustainable management were developed and presented in schools, i.e. teachers were trained.
Bransparent.com is a platform for sustainable fashion consumption. Various labels/brands, online shops and almost 100 offline shops are bundled there.
The range comprises 1,500 products from 30 manufacturers and is constantly being expanded. A product or manufacturer is only included in the range after careful examination of certificates, ecological and socially responsible production. For this purpose it fits has developed the evaluation parameters (core questions) and an evaluation tool for Bransparent.
In cooperation with Future for Cotton, Alexandra Perschau, an evaluation tool for organic textile label has been developed, which presents the result in the form of a traffic light. Greenpeace presents this label evaluation as an information paper entitled "How do I recognise organic clothing? An evaluation of textile labels with environmental relevance".

The OTA - Organic Trade Association (USA) commissioned it fits with the planning, organization and implementation of 4th INTERCOT, which took place in Chicago, USA in May 2005.
On behalf of the IMO - Institut für Marktökologie (Switzerland) the planning, organisation and realiuation of the 3rd INTERCOT took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, 2002. 130 participants from more than 20 countries and 30 speakers took part.
Furthermore, the 2nd INTERCOT in 1996 in Bingen/Germany was organized on behalf of IMO. 144 participants from 27 countries and 45 speakers took part.
Highligts of the INTERCOT events have been a fashion show, student design competition, enviromental award.
